Registration for Non-Authors for Friday's Programming
Have you thought about writing a book but are not sure where to begin? Are you already working on a manuscript and looking for practical advice on what comes next? Join us Friday, Feb. 26, 2027, for a free day of programming at the West Tennessee Celebration of Books designed for aspiring writers, first-time authors and anyone interested in learning more about the writing and publishing process. Sessions will explore topics including getting started, traditional publishing, self-publishing, academic and university publishing, memoir, historical nonfiction, book marketing and more. Whether you have a finished manuscript, a few chapters or simply an idea, you are welcome to attend. Please complete the information below to reserve your space. We are excited to welcome you to Discovery Park for this first West Tennessee Celebration of Books and hope the day gives you useful ideas, encouragement and connections as you continue your writing journey. We also invite you to return Saturday, Feb. 27, to meet more than 100 published authors from throughout the region, purchase books, have them signed and discover new writers and stories. As part of our commitment to the celebration of books and reading, admission to Discovery Park will be free for conference attendees on Friday and open to the public for free for everyone on Saturday.
